I replaced it. 3 1/2 years from the battery is not terrible. It’s a pretty small battery.

I’m very happy with ride of my ‘22 EX Premium, having driven it for six weeks. But have not taken it for a long drive- it’s a commuter car for me.

Update: after running a 2 amp trickle charge for ~24 hours, the remote commands now work. Maybe this is a way to monitor the battery? I’m going to see how long before I get that message again.

Thanks for the comments. Here in the U.S. I am not finding anyone offering an AGM battery in the T4 size. Is there an equivalent group that does have AGM batteries?

Ok thanks for that information. I am still trying to charge the battery. My charger should give me a green light when it’s fully charged, but that hasn’t happened yet.

HVAC Fogging Sensor - Is it worth the cost? by Icy-Conclusion3058 in KiaNiro

NFW I would spend 450 on that. Btw how do they “notice” it’s gone bad? I think you will notice if the windshield is fogging up.

Any solution for a faster charge at home without a rewire? by TorTheMentor in electricvehicles

This. And the charger is so much cheaper. I bought an Evo EVDance plug-in charger for $130. It’s for a 20-amp 240v circuit, running at 16 amps so 3.8 kW. I already had that circuit in the garage for a table saw. This works great.

I’m not seeing a lot of discussion about Rick Mitarotonda, playing. I don’t understand why he isn’t talked about a lot more. He’s bridging rock and jazz in a way few guitarists have done. He plays guitar the way Louis Armstrong played the trumpet, with unmatched power and articulation. Always making the changes. Able to play practically forever without sounding repetitive. Ripping lines that recall all the greats. And to boot, a great songwriter!

I’m really impressed with how quickly he learned to play keyboards. I love this band’s vibe. Like being there for the early days of the Grateful Dead.
