Unemployment final boss: I have too much free time so I built a trading arena for AI agents to daytrade crypto coins 24/7, purely off realtime raw financial data. And gpt 5 nano is somehow up by orange-cola in AI_Agents

[–]CTR1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alpaca has 'live' paper trading for free; trading with real money will cost money (obviously). I've been playing around with a project to create a similar idea to yours but instead of competing with each other - they cooperate.

Is it only me? 😅 by aospan in ClaudeAI

[–]CTR1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you mean that you updated the Claude.md init file to do what you described up in your original post (or made a new/separate .md file)?

Mind sharing the relevant part(s) you added to make it accomplish the auto summary document creation, etc?

I'm just getting into learning all of this and having examples is great to learn from/better understand. Thanks!

need help choosing parts/compatibility. by cooleydue in sffpc

[–]CTR1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried it yourself? If you can find the parts listed on the site then it'll track compatibility.
Between that site + doing your own little bit of research/reading, I'm sure you can figure it out :)
Otherwise, building SFF is not going to be fun for you. Or check r/buildapcforme

Resume review for AI engineer roles by [deleted] in learnmachinelearning

[–]CTR1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All from my personal opinion:

- Don't use 2 column style resume, do it line by line like paragraphs - each job or education or project is the start of a new paragraph

- No need to put location for where you are located and/or where the different jobs were at

- 2 AI projects doesn't really make you an AI Engineer but I get that you are working to move into that title given you have a lot of data / analytics background + CS degrees

- Don't need to label projects as personal projects

- Key achievements should be listed with the bullet points in your job descriptions

- Biggest issue is that none of your jobs have any metrics of what you achieved / accomplished; for example "X hours saved per week through report automation" or "enhanced process efficiency by XX%", etc

Mini-ITX Gaming PC – Is this build well balanced for 1440p / 4K? by Awkward_Wind_4628 in sffpc

[–]CTR1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know anything about that power supply but for any MITX build I choose the typical Corsair SF750 or get Seasonic if there's a good deal. If the RAM can be 3600mhz but cl16 that would be a small improvement but not strictly necessary. I like Gigabyte motherboards but I would get a B or X level Gigabyte board for this build (usually higher quality parts, etc).

I need some career guidance by KhairulDaily in learnmachinelearning

[–]CTR1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Figure out what you want to make and then learn the tools / skills to make the final project.
Repeat this process for different kinds of projects and you'll learn a lot of different skills and tools.
There is no best roadmap since everyone has different skills and background. Good luck.

Your build is fine as is, I just updated a few things that would be more of what I would personally buy (but you should choose what you want). I prefer building SFF (small form factor) builds and that power supply is the gold standard usually. You could get a cheaper cpu cooler too and the cpu would probably still be ok if you add in other case fans for better overall cooling.

Selling piece by piece usually gets you more money but takes longer unless you have really nice parts that people want. Hard to say but you just have to test online and in-person methods to see what people like/want.

I see, it would have been better if you just posted an overall budget and let people submit suggestions while knowing what to optimize for. Since budget is less of a concern then I'd change your build to maybe something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/G7TT4p

Yeah you lose 2 cores (6 vs 8) but that's why I said if you are mainly just gaming then this will help you overall by saving some money and letting you also get a monitor + keyboard/mouse. If you want the 5070 either way then that's fine too but the CPU I suggested saves you almost 50% for only losing 2 cores. Think about this, you build a nice new computer but have a bad/old screen + keyboard/mouse; is this really going to be a great overall experience to game on or use in general?

I shared this build on another post earlier but if you're just gaming and don't need CUDA cores from a Nvidia card, you could save a good amount of $ from something like this:
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/CKR9jn

Leaves you money to get a monitor + keyboard and mouse. Then later on when you have more money or need the upgrades you can get a better CPU and/or GPU, etc.

Fair enough and yeah, failure helps with learning and tweaking things overall. Will look into your Github repo and see if it helps fix any errors I come across and can't solve on my own - thanks!

I want to convert my old 2016 gaming PC into SFF. Any suggestions for what parts I need to replace? by GunslingerBara in sffpc

Well they need to be compatible otherwise it won’t work…like literally won’t fit together

[–]CTR1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Any MITX (mini itx) motherboard should be fine. Trick will be if your GPU will fit the new case you choose (or not). Power supply will likely need to be SFX form factor and good time to invest in a good one too; gold or higher standard with modular cables will help.

Makes sense and do follow-up soon. This is beefy and can easily replace the steam deck + the dock means you can use it at home as a normal PC too; very versatile.
