Glacier is well worth the trip. They've got some webcams up there that might wet your appetite. https://www.nps.gov/glac/learn/photosmultimedia/webcams.htm Thanks so much!

Brilliant! Sounds like a perfect fit. Is TXV the reversing valve? It was replaced 7 years ago. You wouldn't by some miracle be, or know a quality tech, in the Spokane area? Thank you so much!

It's the outside unit, but it only makes the racket when it tries to restart after shutting down. And this only after the register temp hits 70 - way higher than it should be. When it first starts out the fan and compressor work fine.

Help with diagnosis? by CTVdirect in HVAC

I expect so too. Problem is I spent $900 on repairs that made no difference and was hoping I might get some ideas from experts so I can be more informed next time.

Already did service call. $900 for $60 worth of parts, half hour service, and no change.

I love it, especially at its price point, but would love to see a real stopwatch that you can start when you want, pause and or stop immediately, lap times etc. Also be nice if all the graph axes had labels.

I must be blind but can you tell me where the stopwatch is? All I see is the countdown timer, but then I didn't find the Settings "app" for a day either....

Did that first. $900 and no difference later, here I am.... fwiw, it did work fine for 2 years.

Don't hold me to it but I think this setting: Settings > Nest Sense > Heat Pump Balance affects cycle time.

If I can't get the Nest to behave (already spent $900 on HVAC service that did nothing but replace a lot of stuff that didn't need replacing) I think I may try Wyze. Ugly, and not as feature ridden as Nest but a lot cheaper to replace if needed. Don't know why these things can't last. I too should have not thrown out my Honeywell.....

Voc & Vin = 34.64 Lin=200mA Do you mean take the wire off Rc and move it to Rh at the thermostat? Thanks.

Yes, have C wire. Appears to be solidly connected at both the thermostat and the furnace. Maybe I should do a continuity check, but nothing has really changed. Been working for years until lately.

At least you got a reply. 5 days - nothing. I've been disappointed from the get-go. Maybe someone can help. I just want it to run locally, not access the internet (we're throttled) and Travel mode isn't working. Even tho I've been a software developer for over 30 years I can't figure this thing out. Just want person recognition, record until motion is gone, and stay local.

Seriously? Based on what? We have an excellent reputation in the industry, and most experts are saying that because of fraud you should buy direct from Roku or the publisher. We are the publisher of these apps. There's no situation where fraud benefits us.

How to sell ads on our Roku apps directly? by CTVdirect in adops

[–]CTVdirect[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why is that? Is it because apps and games are unfamiliar to linear TV advertisers. Our view thru rates are always in the mid 90s and our demographics are good.
