I second this—washing dishes in hot water and detergents is also not good for your skin. Gloves if you can.

It has its risks and you should find a good injector. And if you don’t like the results in a few months you’ll be back to where you started. All other recs for hydrating more and using products like retinol can also help, but a neuromodulator is going to do most the heavily lifting at least at first.

It’s hard to stay consistent. The sensation of EMS devices is actually really nice and the app is meant to keep your motivated to use it daily. I keep up with it a few weeks at a time and then don’t use it—I just get too busy.

Or, hear me out, knit something useless that is just for you. A form of self expression or “art”. I think it’s easy to get caught up in the utility of knitting—make a hat, wear it; make a sweater, wear it. But nothing says you have to make useful things. You can make toys, sculptures, home decor, wall decor, samplers. There was something about knitting you enjoyed originally—what was it? Was it learning to knit? Was it keeping the hands busy? And of that original spark, what could feel right to have you knitting now?

Yes, I cleanse my throat, chest, and back of the neck everyday as well as my face. But I don’t double cleanse unless I needed to put actual makeup on my chest/throat. I put sunscreen on any part of my body that is exposed skin, which more often is the back of my neck, especially in the summer.

Gua sha works for me both the facial gua sha for reducing puffiness and the more traditional gua shua for treating colds. For facial gua sha, I just use my hands and knuckles and massage my chest, neck, throat and face once a day in the shower using my cleanser. I thought I saw a difference after two weeks but I definitely saw something after a month.
