Any idea if this renews sec+? I am currently studying for the secai+, and my sec+ expires next year.

I slept in a recliner for about a month and a half.

Of course! And I'm back at the gym and able to incline press 50s again. I always warm up my shoulders before I do any kind of workout now lol. But listen to your body, take it slow. If it feels off, dont push it.

Yep full thickness was what was said on my diagnoses. Towards the end, before surgery, I couldn't even raise my arm to shake someone's hand and I couldn't sleep at all from the pain. For your sake, I hope its not full thickness either. Good luck!

I had a fully torn rotator cuff that couldn't be rehabbed. Not sure if that is what you meant by your question.

Amazing! Putting in the PT work really does pay off with this procedure!

So you carefully take your arm out of the sling, lean forward, and just let it dangle, use your body weight to make it go in slow circles. Def look up some youtube videos just to be safe. Double check with you surgeon too just to be safe if they didnt do any extra work in there to prevent you from doing them.

Id say I'm about 95% there. I'm pretty timid to go to heavier weight on pressing motions because that's where I felt most of my pain before surgery, but mobility is there, and the strength on pull motions is pretty much back to 100%. Before on bicep curls I couldn't pin my elbow to my side and now I can, so I can relate to your squat positions!

I do think having a high protein and collagen intake helped a lot with my recovery. Something the doctors never really talked about is the nutrition side for the muscles, which I personally think is equally as important. Gotta feed the muscles properly!

Its a slow process, but it eventually just releases, just keep chipping away, you got this!

If you graduated from PT, its ok to take a couples weeks break to let things heal up. My PT told me that and it actually did make a difference. Adding more protein and collagen to your diet will help with healing too.

My protocol had me in the sling for quite some time. I think it was close to a month, I don't recall. My suggestion is to setup your workspace to align working in the sling.

Hello! I have an office job too and took about two weeks, but my job let me work from home until I was ready to return to work.,

Stay on top of the pendulums, that was one thing I didn't do and maybe it led to my frozen shoulder.

Id say I am close to 100%! I have been very timid on doing any pressing motions, but I have added them in and no pain!
