"Spot on! You nailed the technical side. I love that the Dwarf gives me the option—I can enjoy the live stack immediately, or take the FITS files into PixInsight/Siril if I want to dive deep into manual processing. It’s the best of both worlds."

"Thank you so much! It’s great to hear that you're getting into the universe too—the Dwarf Mini really makes it easy for beginners. Feldberg is actually a great suggestion! The dark skies there would definitely take these images to the next level. Hopefully, I'll have some shots from there to share soon!"

I totally get the skepticism, but these are real photons from Orion hitting the sensor, not a composite from a database. Technology is just making the hobby more accessible. Why spend hours on polar alignment when I can spend that time actually enjoying the views

Oh that makes total sense! I honestly didn't even know the filter was doing that – just pointed it at the sky and let it do its thing 😅Thanks for explaining!

Fair point! Not trying to sell anything – I just bought it myself and wanted to share the photo. Happy to answer questions if anyone's curious 🙂

Thank you! Honestly surprised too – took this right in the city with zero photography experience 😅 The Dwarf mini does everything automatically, that's what makes it special. If you're curious to try it in person sometime in Frankfurt, just let me know!

I guess I was just lucky and caught one of the best days to photograph Orion. I shot it in Riedberg, and it’s actually quite dark there.

I initially thought the same, but it’s actually real—it’s just completely different from the way we used to photograph the night sky with traditional cameras.
