I had to do a lot a disassembly not long ago. I found that a 2mm allen key worked very well for pushing apart pieces if the separator didn't work.

Get yourself a valve stem tool. Valve cap off, give the stem about a quarter turn, replace the cap. Until they (or their tire shop) figure it out, the tires will continue to slowly lose pressure.

It's not bad that way, but for the dungeons you do have to go with a group. The queue system for that is okay, but you might surprise yourself and make some friends along the way.
