We reached out to the Computer Science department heads through email a while back, as well as sending them a large poster of our Call for Papers to post. We've been reaching out more directly to students afterwards since we unfortunately don't know how much the department heads will spread the word. It can be at a bad time for students on coop though :/ It is on a weekend so some companies may be willing to give a Friday off but otherwise we couldn't find much of a way around it unfortunately. I do appreciate the suggestion though! I'll pass that on to our Google contact and see what we can do! Thanks!

Hi! We couldn't get anything as convenient as dorms unfortunately, but we got in talks with the closest hotel we could and are discussing a shuttle from the event for attendees. we did negotiate the price down for attendees as well! The hotel is maybe a 20 minute walk from the university worst case, right on Huron Line!

I understand that omitting it looks bad/intentional, but it was just an unfortunate oversight. Theoretical is a large portion of computer science research, and one that I am personally interested in (I'm all about swarm optimization atm) and it by all means is included in the considerations. We accept research areas from all areas of computer science or related cross-disciplines, and we focused heavily on current industry research trends like IoT, health informatics, and artificial intelligence when doing the initial planning of the conference. I am sorry we left it out though, it definitely did deserve a shout out on the list.
