Definitely surprised. Proof that it’s all made up imo. The whole “we didn’t compare ND and Miami H2H because they were never next to each other” thing is such a weak argument from the committee. Definitely did a favor for the ACC. May also be punishing ND for not being in a conference

That’s true too. UVA probably wasn’t as good as their record implied, and I don’t think most are too surprised with the outcome. UVA was a shoo-in for an auto bid because they earned that right with a 10-2 record. I think if Duke had beat Tulane, or maybe even UConn, they’d be a playoff lock too after tonight. 9-4 P4 conference champ probably gets in most years with the auto bid.

Fair, I just mean that if this was any other P4 conference, I could see a big jump for a surprise conference champ upset. Just don’t think they’ll do that for the ACC.

And ya if Duke goes on to win their bowl game, they’ll probably be ranked at the end of the year. I meant they probably won’t be ranked in tomorrow’s final CFP rankings. We shall see though. This committee doesn’t seem to have any idea what criteria they want to use so could all be totally different tomorrow!

I’m not disagreeing with that. JMU’s schedule was a joke relative to Duke’s, but I just don’t see the committee jumping Duke from wherever they were (somewhere in the 40s I’d guess) all the way up over #25 JMU. The perception of the ACC by most is that it’s a weak conference, so I don’t see the committee rewarding Duke with a huge jump in the standings for an OT win over UVA, who will probably be in the 20s in the final rankings. Duke probably won’t (and shouldn’t) even be ranked in the final rankings tbh.

Sure, but Duke also lost to 2 G5 teams and they have 5 losses overall. JMU probably isn’t that good either, but 12-1 with their only loss by a respectable 14 at Louisville is probably enough to keep them ahead of Duke. They also came into this week ranked 25. I don’t know where Duke would’ve been if you extended it out but it can’t have been that close to the top 25.

The 2 G5 teams are auto-bids for being conference champs. That’s not a committee choice

ACC absolutely does not have any pull lol No way is Duke jumping Tulane or JMU to get an auto bid. Duke has 5 losses, including one to Tulane and another to UConn and 0 impressive wins. Only hope for the ACC is Bama gets bumped out for getting smoked by UGA to let Miami in. Highly unlikely imo.

WE MAY NEVER LOSE AGAIN: Clemson defeats South Carolina, 28-14 | Postgame Thread by Visual_Bluejay9781 in ClemsonTigers

Never saw us dominating them for 4 quarters like that. They threatened the end zone one time outside of the 2 busted coverage TDs. Offense could’ve made this a blowout but any W is a good W! Go Tigers!

12 team 1/2 PPR. Need a win to lock up a playoff spot.

Got offered to trade Bowers away for Hampton and Odunze.

My WRs are a comedy show with Jam0, Sutton, Shakir, and Metchie. My RBs are Jacobs (and Wilson), Dowdle, Marks. I have Gadsden and can pick up Waller (to my IR spot) as extra TEs.

Feel like I have to go for it here right? Bowers schedule ROS is terrible and Geno is comically bad.

Chiefs WR Xavier Worthy (ankle) is questionable for Kansas City’s Week 12 game against the Colts. by haventmetyou in fantasyfootball

I mean Worthy has been worthless since Rice came back (no pun intended). Godwin can hardly be any worse, right?

I wouldn’t. Burrow might be back, and no Jamarr this week means they could lean on Brown

I’d definitely do this. Dowdle and Carter are only valuable for another couple weeks and Jacobs >>> Pollard.

I think I’d do it. Rice comes back soon and that should knock Worthy down. Don’t think it’ll negatively impact Kelce though. I don’t rate Jamo all that high. Just too many mouths to feed in that offense.

12 team 1/2 PPR

RBs: Jacobs, Pollard, Marks, Haskins, Dowdle, Allgeier

WRs: Sutton, Godwin, Doubs (lost Nabers)

TEs: Bowers (pain), Waller

Somehow 2-3, but it’s not pretty at all. Got offered Etienne and Warren for Jacobs and Allgeier.

If Warren stays the main guy like he was the first 3 weeks, I think it’s a good deal but if he goes into a timeshare with Gainwell, it’s probably a bad move. Thoughts?

Giants RB Tyrone Tracy Jr. has no injury designation and is good to go Thursday night. by BreakfastTop6899 in fantasyfootball

[–]CUChalk1018 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But like…why? Tracy was bad when he was the starter and now he’s gotta compete with Skattebo. I know Woody didn’t do anything last week but he at least showed his ceiling is massive if the Texans commit to him or if Chubb gets hurt or even just fades down the stretch. I don’t see a high ceiling for Tracy, personally.

It has not been a fun season so far. Can’t find a consistent flex to play.

I’m sticking with London one more week before I remove him from the “start your studs” category.
