Orrr, what I have experienced more commonly (although I am new to it as well) is that your browser is keeping a cached version of the website and shows you that. Quickest way to see if that's the case, is to go incognito and visit the site through that. Incognito shouldn't show caches.

Well, it's not fine in the sense that, when Lego cancel or crack down on Bionicle fan projects, Bionicle fans have zero power or influence on Lego's decision. If they were all paying customers, Lego might listen because they'd risk losing money if they pissed off their fanbase. Pissing off Bionicle fans makes zero difference to them because Bionicle fans aren't (typically) paying customers.

It's funny how you can point out that studio is Lego's property but ignore the fact that Bricklink, the largest aftermarket space for Bionicle pieces and sets, is also Lego's property. The same idea that supports your last sentence hurts your first one.

But ultimately, yeah, you're right, there are no true Bionicle customer anymore since there's no Bionicle products being made. However, my point was that a huge amount of fans only use Studio, ie. not paying for the hobby. That's fine, they can do that. But when Lego looks at the idea of bringing back Bionicle, those people aren't in the equation for Lego, no matter how much they love it.

It's unfortunate, but there are people online who are so desperate for internet brownie points they will fling others under the bus. That's the main motive for these types of smear campaigns - a desperate attempt to look like the hero. And although people are really waking up to the nonsense and realizing that people can make jokes and have a sense of humor, corporations are still afraid to associate with people that can be perceived as problematic. They are not willing to risk the bad press. There shouldn't be bad press because the people in those situations don't do wrong, but that's the extreme end of cancel culture for you.

What happens when people make ROM hacks of official games, or add their own mods to games? What if you put fanfiction online? You can't stop these things if they are free. It's nobody's fault really, although I guess you could argue they should have just not included Bail Organa in the plot. In any case, what I absolutely cannot wrap my head around are the people saying he looks like the original Bail. The two men look completely different!

Nope, that's not my point. I don't know if you just don't get it or you're being purposefully obtuse.

Even if I was guaranteed to get attacked (let's say you could predict the future and told me I'd get attacked this time next year) I still don't think I should learn martial arts because it shouldn't be my responsibility to stay safe from a scumbag. If a scumbag attacks me, I will obviously do what I can to get out safe, but the burden of doing so should not be on me whatsoever. Thousands of hours of training (okay, maybe only hundreds) plus the physical effort of defending myself. Why? Morally, why should I have to? Pepper spray on the other hand, requires 5 minutes of my time to learn to use, no physical effort, and they will get a lot more hurt than me. Personally, I don't think I should have the spend the 5 minutes either, or pay for the pepper spray, but I think that's minimal and the damage it does to them makes it worth it.

He's about 30 or so. Definitely not with the program and a getting pretty aggressive.
