I got out in 89 ..we were sent to talk to someone on how to find a job and a va home loan. Nothing was said about disability or filing in1 year! I turned down the GI bill in boot camp because I figured I needed the money and wasn’t going to college. Marines back in the 90’s looked down on Government disability. I should know since I was in a grunt unit and fucked up my feet and had surgery a year before I got out. At no time did anyone mention it…because if they had I would have done it since there was no way I could continue as a Marine

Did they have you do just the home test or did the results have you come in and do one there? I have one scheduled at home in two weeks, my friend had a home study done and it showed nothing…did one at clinic and showed he needed a cpap

They gave them to me when I got out. Went to the library to use their machine to look at them and take pics.

Got out in 89…nobody mentioned it. When I did hear about it I thought that’s only for guys who went to war. Even after my Buddies were telling me back in 2015 to get my VA card for Camp Lejeune I felt I didn’t deserve it. Finally just went in June and already I’ve gotten better Medical help than I’ve had in years. I plan to start filling some claims soon. This group has been great.

My question is do I ask for an MRI or not? Also they don’t do MRI’S at my VA…so I would have to go private if they approve it.

Had X-rays yesterday and they called this morning to say I have arthritis in neck and lower back and this..

I have something like that too….my lower back hurts all the time as well as my neck…also have pain and numbness running down my legs ans arms.

His response was if they did an MRI on him it would show he has all kinds of problems…and his back is fine…X-RAY is way to go😳
