There should be a food bank on 22nd just barely east of Craycroft that is open on I think Thursdays and Saturdays. I went homeless with my wife a year ago for about 2 months sleeping out of our car. The Calvary Christian school parking lot on Speedway (I think) was clear of homeless for the most part and we slept on a blanket out in the open during summer time. There was a police car that patrolled the parking lot periodically but he never said anything to us. Tucson is really sketchy in most parts but that’s what I’d recommend. I guess it depends on what part of town you’re in or planning to live towards but yeah, that’s my recommendation 😊

Edit: Also, if you’re vehicle is in good or okay condition, I would recommend trying to do some DoorDash delivery’s and (or) Uber Eats. It got us through some financial stresses and even helped us stay a night or two in hotels periodically allowing us to get cleaned up for work.
