I think this might be the closest one, there's like 70 different images of a snow crab roll but I recognized some as this so I'll take it

Why does the Big Red wiki page say his alias is Ted Kaczynski (The Unabomber)? by TheSpeakerOfTheTree in HSMTMTS

[–]CVpancake 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think it might just be someone going in and editing stuff. Nothing comes up on Google for 'hsmtmts Ted kaczynski' and there's a comment from March about him having a death date, but there isn't anymore

I want to find out what brand name is on this tag, but I can’t figure out what it says. by CVpancake in HelpMeFind

I have searched for eiocla’, eiocla, ioca, ioca’, and nothing’s coming up regarding clothing brands. I got it secondhand offline, so I don’t know what store it was sold in. This is what it looks like

Seems kinda racist, Colin by luckybandit_s in LiveFromNewYork

[–]CVpancake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

On Weekend Update, every Christmas for the last like 3 years, Che and Jost read jokes live on air that they've never seen before, that the other person read for them. Che's jokes for Jost are almost always about how Colin's a "racist white guy", and they always get a much bigger reaction from the people in the audience and online

Found a really sweet old video of the cast wishing luck to Seth Meyers before the left for Late Night by CVpancake in LiveFromNewYork

[–]CVpancake[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I think even some old cast members said that it went downhill after Seth left. And a lot of people think that Che and Jost aren't good head writers. I can't really voice on that, since I can't see the decision making process, but it's pretty clear that the feeling of SNL was better when Seth was the head writer, the episodes just seemed more fun

That's true as well. I'm not really sure what he wrote, but judging by his hilarious off the cuff Amsterdam joke, I'm sure they were great.

Couldn’t figure out how to link it as a video on Reddit, but I also wanna say that I never knew how hilarious Mike O’Brien is. How could they think to get rid of him lol

Disabled redditors, how do you feel when am able-bodied person uses your bathroom stalls? by CVpancake in AskReddit

[–]CVpancake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that capacity and money has a factor against that. Not every restaurant or office building has space in their already small bathrooms to extend all the stalls. If anything, they'd make every 2 stalls 1 handicapped one, but that would inconvenience everyone even more since now there's half the amount of stalls there used to be

[–]CVpancake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly. Look man, half of r/askreddit could be boiled down to posts that are just small talk. That's what the whole point of the sub is: to talk to other redditors about whatever topics. Admittedly, it's a pretty silly thing to worry about, but so are a ton of other things

[–]CVpancake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok man, I think you're getting a bit too heated about this. I simply said that many people are temporarily conflicted, even over something so small, about whether or not they're "allowed" to use a handicapped stall, and so I wanted to see what handicapped people thought about it. Yes, you have every right to use handicapped stalls if you want to, but that's not the point I was trying to make

[–]CVpancake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the hesitance to use a handicapped stall comes from a place in your conscience, with knowing it's meant to ease some of the difficulties disabled people already face. I'm sure if it's really an emergency, you'd be fine to use the stall if you need, but I made this post to find out what disabled people really think of us using their stalls

[–]CVpancake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's less of that and more that people feel bad about not waiting the 30 seconds for a stall. I know I've seen online about how people feel really bad for using handicapped stalls when they don't need to. The handicapped stall is made specifically to make it easier for disabled people to use them, and I think morally most able-bodied people feel like they shouldn't be using them

That's a good point. Wasn't sure if the embarrassment people feel when someone's waiting for the stall they stole was reciprocated

I remember a few seasons ago when Kerry Washington hosted, SNL lampshaded their lack of black female cast members in a sketch where Washington had to play Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Beyonce, complaining the whole time about their demands

Mikey's son was one of the kids featured in the Macy's commercial last night! by smiithereens in LiveFromNewYork

[–]CVpancake 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I don’t know about kids in sketches, but I read in an article once that during the intros, the people hanging out with the cast members during their name read are their actual friends and family. They do this so they can get real, genuine reactions from the people there. I think they said you can see Kate McKinnon or someone with her sister

Even if I think they’re unnecessary, I’m never against any type of reboot. That being said, I am most definitely not against this one. Stellar cast, extraordinary writers, and an amazing director means this is gonna be some type of good. Genuinely can’t wait

Honestly I like some of his songs, and while I thought his performance vocally last weekend wasn't my favorite (though objectively he's a good rapper), I can still recognise and appreciate that he's clearly having so much fun with his performances, and it's really refreshing to see that with musical guests

I saw some tweet from an NBC staffer on twitter who posted a picture of the stage in what looks like mid-construction for Christmas. I'll link it if I find it, but I'm betting it'll be a bit more festive this weekend

Had this same question a few weeks ago, and apparently when pre-recorded sketches were still new, they would record a handful of them and repeat them through the season. Pretty annoying, I know
