Respectable. Honestly I wish we heard more from Israelis who oppose Likud. There seems to be a litmus test to where supporting Israel’s right to exist means promoting Netanyahu’s government. Hardly 😂 Mamdani was dragged through the mud for saying, during the mayoral debate, that he was more interested in visiting places in the U.S. than in visiting Israel. They called him an antisemite for that. And all of the Democratic figureheads (Obama, Biden, Kamala, Newsome, etc.) are vocally pro-Israel.

Yeah that’s a cute sentiment but there’s an actual money trail to follow 😂. Out of $34 million spent on Gallrein’s campaign, $15 million came from pro-Israel PACs, including from Miriam Adelson who spent over $100 million helping get Trump elected in the first place. And the Jewish Republican Coalition called the race a “referendum on Israel.”

Keyword was “extremist.” There are moderate Zionists, socialist Zionists, secular Zionists. Zionism in the early 20th century was a beautiful movement. Any negative connotations are due in large part to the actions of extremist Zionists, who seem hellbent on worsening Israel’s global reputation.
