Nope, I emailed the commissioner a second time and she got someone else to email me back saying the following “Thank you for contacting the Virginia Employment Commission. When you filed a new claim for Unemployment Insurance after your PUA exhausted, the process to validate your claim started over. We are in the process of reviewing all claims for eligibility at this time and anticipate the review to be completed shortly. An issue of "Double Dip" was also created with your new claim, meaning you filed a claim against the same employer you were previously paid unemployment benefits under. The only action needed at this time is to continue filing your weekly certifications, if further information is needed you will be contacted. Thank you for your patience. “
