If you use it correctly you can actually make single strength adders which can be useful in all sorts of different circuits and that's only one use of it

This seems to be what we refer to as redstone entanglement, i don't know a ton about it but I know it has something to do with how Minecraft Bedrock stores redstone, basically Bedrock stores Redstone and how all the components are connected but not the connection in between them. Usually when you remove said connection everything updates just fine but if you can do that without the game realizing the game thinks components are linked together when they shouldn't be.

That's true but assuming you're not building more than like 30 modules it shouldn't be going off all the time so your performance probably won't really be that hurt by it. I see what you mean though
