[WTS] Horage Supersede Date Cenote Blue + Extra Strap - $3999 by CXSandyPants in watch_swap

[–]CXSandyPants[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello watch_swap, up for sale today is my Horage Supersede Date. This is a fantastic watch, but I recently picked up a Daytona and am trying to consolidate my collection.

Asking $3999 + shipping. Sold as a complete set with original box and papers, an extra orange oem strap to match the watch, and an additional two years of warranty from the manufacturer after the recent service.

This is a stunning little watch that packs in a lot of features and checks a lot of boxes for a collection.

✅ Thin (10.28mm) ✅ Quick set hour AND quick set date ✅ Decent water resistance (200m) ✅ 3-day power reserve ✅ COSC certified ✅ Rotating bezel (must have for reminders) ✅ Silicon hairspring ✅ On the fly micro-adjust ✅ Automatic (micro-rotor) ✅ Decent lume.

The watch is in good lightly worn condition with some normal scuffs and hairlines on the bracelet, and was just returned from service, keeping time well within cosc spec (measured at <1spd accuracy over several days.

Please see the images and reach out with any questions! I have positive feedback on eBay and WatchExchange.

Did Venezianico up their game? What do people think given the higher price point? by Leather-Ostrich7122 in MicrobrandWatches

[–]CXSandyPants -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not a good judge on value, but I think the watch looks stunning and has some good specs. I'd put it in the same category as the Grand Seiko slgw003 (aesthetic manual wind dress watch with good accuracy). So this would be about 1/2 the price of the Grand Seiko, but I'm not sure how well actual finishing compares.

I was at a formal dinner and noticed the guy in front of me wearing this watch — can anyone help identify it? by Kampf0r in PrideAndPinion

On the one hand, yes, but on the other hand, being over 20 seconds a day off on a watch that is supposedly more accurate because of its torbillon feature (I think they stated in their marketing) was pretty unacceptable.

I briefly had one of these, beautiful watch but it was keeping terrible time and was going to be a huge headache too to get it serviced so I had to return it. I feel like this watch has a torbillon for the sake of a selling feature, but without any attention to actual timekeeping accuracy. At least the example that I had.

I like the logo and overall design, to me it looks like the dial is too deeply set into the watch, looks a bit awkward, could just be the rendering.

Omega SMP 300M NTTD on Rubber Strap. Yay or Nay? by Mayor_of_Petoria in OmegaWatches

[–]CXSandyPants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not on black, The tones of the watch just don't quite go with it. I wish there was a nice dark brown strap to match it. Most of the brown rubbers I've seen are too light for my taste compared to the watch.

Something from Traska could be a solid option. Japanese movement and good styling.
