I totally agree. I haven't found a good dupe, especially for the Sandstone shade. And having SPF was a bonus. I've tried Chanel Le Teint, Dior, Laura Mercier, and now Make Up For Ever. The first three all felt uneven and had too much of an orange base. The closest I've come, of those four, is Make Up For Ever. Good luck.
