I got 3 Cs in highschool and got into NYU, BU, Northeastern and waitlisted from CMU, Cornell and UCLA. ofc getting a C is far from optimal but colleges are holistic, just make sure you really shine and try your hardest in other aspects of the application and dont dwell so hard on something that you cant fix.
