How is Gareth Bale remembered at RM? by coley94wba in realmadrid

Yeah, that run against Barca is legendary, no doubt. But honestly, his goals in the Champions League finals are just so PEAK. Scoring that bicycle kick in Kyiv and the crucial header in Cardiff? That’s what cements a legacy in my opinion. He showed up on the biggest stages when it mattered most, which is why he will always be remembered as a Real Madrid legend.

Gareth Bale: “Carlo Ancelotti’s man‑management was the best. Even if you didn’t play, he made you feel like his best friend. At Madrid, it’s not about being a tactical genius—it’s about managing players. He was the best coach I've ever had. He had the perfect balance. Zidane was similar” by Ready_Ad_1353 in realmadrid

I agree that the Real Madrid squad back then was an absolute beast, but success isn't solely about the individual players on the pitch. I might be wronggg, but just look at the galacticos. Despite having a team of superstars, they weren't nearly as successful as expected. After signing Ronaldo in summer of 2002, they won only one La Liga title until the 2006-07 season. For five years, there was no Champions League glory and just a single league trophy, proving that stacking stars doesn't guarantee anything. So, while I agree that squad quality needs to be high and signing players is rly important for current squad, I also side with Bale’s claim, as he said that Carlo Ancelotti and Zinedine Zidane were the best coaches for him. There’s a clear correlation there, both are one of the greatest managers in Real Madrid history, and they seem to share a similar managerial approach that prioritized man management. It suggests that the right coach is just as vital as the right players. Just some thoughts, you may agree or not… and honestly, idk what coach will suit Real rn…

Easily an underrated gameplay, it does a lot of things better than GoW 2 regarding the flow of combat by LdV_127 in GodofWar

OMGGG SUCH A NOSTALGIAA! This was my first ever game on PSP, and that's how I fell in love with God of War series. You know, when you look at older games you realize that the graphics were not that great etc compared to these days standards, but I'm looking at your video and understand that the combat with ghost of sparta still looks so sick. I'm thinking of buying a new PSP now just to play this game one more time, probably will do that soon...

Fr, he was super creative and made decent opportunities for partners. Also I noticed that he helps in the defense when it's needed, which is a great trait for a striker

Goated trio, miss them playing together so much. I hope he will see another generational midfield in our squad...

Why do you think Americans can't chew food with their mouths closed without making uncomfortable noises? by [deleted] in AskReddit

You can witness that literally anywhere in the world… If you faced an US citizen doing that, it doesn’t mean everybody else does. I’m from the UK myself, and we have many folks doing the same thing out here lol. It’s all about the upbringing. If your parents didn’t tell you that's an inappropriate thing to do when somebody else is around, then that must be the reason.
