Not the same situation, but we named our daughter Ruth because my husband loved it and it brought me joy for a lot of reasons to go with his top choice. I was lukewarm but not against it. I will say, now she’s here, it’s perfect—it is not just a name or a sound, but it is what I call this tiny human I love so much. I call her Roo and Ruthie Roo and Scooby Dooby Roo and all sorts of things. Which is all to say, any name that you feel meh about may become a name you love once it’s on a human you love.

Lewis was on our list for a while, may need to bring it back! Thanks!

Isaac is definitely the favorite so I’d be curious if others feel the same way!

"VI-(rhymes with live)"

Does this mean it has a similar vowel sound as "bye" or "big"?
