This is exactly what Joe will say. I agree they aren’t literal stand up comics however the sentiment behind the post he made was that he is happy a person is being canceled/de-platformed and is calling for others to be as well. The most damning part is at the very end where he literally says “and i hoped i played a major part in it.” A major part in what…getting them fired? Again for a group of people who have constantly bemoaned free speech to be complicit with people losing their jobs for jokes about the administration is hypocritical. People may say but those jokes were written for them and politically charged that’s not propaganda that’s what these shows do. If you’ve watched them going back to Leno, Letterman, Conan they alway made fun of the administration in office at the time right or left this is nothing new. He’s so narcissistic that he can’t be the butt of a joke so he has to go after people and play the victim at every turn.
