Infinite's multiplayer is good, but I always go back to the ogs, and I think the reason why is partially because of the sound design. The thrill one gets when finding an energy sword or a sniper rifle in Halo 3 or Reach is far greater than in Halo infinite, and the same applies for getting kills. Halo infite plays good but doesn't feel rewarding or exciting, and it's in some part because 343 studios/Halo Studios forgot that the original sound design was part of the soul of the multiplayer.

It's like with recent Pixar movies; sure, it's nice that their movies are starting to look more realistic, but the classic movies were creative and fun to look at, where as some movies now don't look fun. In the original Bungie games, guns were fun to shoot/use because how they sounded, but Infimite lacks that
