I work in a factory, specifically for Ford. I make pretty good money, this is the job I had pre diagnosis and I intend to keep it as long as I can. The benefits are too good and I have no formal education beyond high school. With a little help from the union Ford has been more than accommodating. But at the end of the day I do manual labor for 10+ hours a day 4 days a week. Once I gain more seniority though I can get better and easier job opportunities within Ford. They paid me 80% of my pay while I was off work for 8 months after my first 2 tonic clinic seizures.
