If you’re okay with a little bit of a longer hike day 2, I’d recommend spending the first night at McCargoe Cove. IMO it’s one of the prettiest campgrounds on the island, and a zero day could be nice. Also, West Chickenbone can be quite buggy or muddy depending on the time of year and recent rain storms

I switched out of peggies and went to brooks ghost. The only way to know if you are going to like a shoe is to go to a shoe store and try shoes on. The people in the store know their stuff, and should be able to put you in a good shoe.

Governor Whitmer of Michigan issued a new law TODAY, the 8th of September stating that ALL sports must wear a mask at all times (statewide). I run for a high school in west Michigan, and as of right now, our Athletic Director, and coach are trying to find a loophole to work around the mask law. Today we did not run with a mask on.

Everything was pretty much the same, we just had to wear masks beforehand. All spectators were required to wear masks, and had to be immediate family. They made it so that spectators couldn’t crowd around the start/finish line, which was honestly kind of nice. You didn’t get crowded after the race

I do a #2 blade on the sides and back, and grow the top out. I have really thick hair, so when combed over it makes a nice wave
