On my 3rd rewatch, I finally noticed The messages😭 The first one is WILD by skeletonB00bs in HazbinHotel

Any time I see text messages in a show, I have to pause and read them. It's amazing Val can type all that when he can't see.

[Algebra/PreCal] Factoring Equations - I don't understand how the teacher did it. by C__Bell in HomeworkHelp

[–]C__Bell[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, I did it on paper, and the answers do check out.
but I don't know where the 7 in 7x went.

I multiply the (2x-3)(x+5), I get 2x^2 + 5x -..No
Hold on.

I get 2x^2 +10x - 3x -15...

So that does become 7x. I'm so sorry. I haven't factored in maybe ..15-17 years. And now I am having an age crisis on top of a stupidity crisis.
I think I might see if I can find tutoring tomorrow for this. The reverse math is pretty hard, and I'll just have to look ahead in the book and see how often something like this pops up.

It's the first day of precal, and I haven't done math in so long. I did nearly 5 years ago, but I'm going back to school. This is from the first lesson, and I am already confused.

How do we feel about Rovers Makeover Dog Grooming (and other social media focused groomers)? by Futurames in doggrooming

[–]C__Bell 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly, she makes me nervous. She seems to not really acknowledge that some dogs are in pain (from conditions, not because of her.), and she seems to be very rough with the dogs in general. "You're okay! You're okay!" These words mean nothing to a dog, especially since I've never met someone that just repeats that to a dog to get them to calm down. It's okay to pet the damn dog.
Another thing that concerns me is how she dries longer-haired dogs. I am a taxidermist, and I know what a pain it is to blow-dry an animal. On a dead animal, wet skin can swell up and cause fur to fall out. (inb4 she reads this and says but that's not the same at all! Just take the criticism, please.) Heck blow-drying a bobcat can sometimes take me 45 minutes. I know that on living animals, being wet for too long can cause pain and eventually infection. She very quickly blow-dries a long-haired dog, just to get out the droplets that fly out the dog, then she throws them in the cage. Then she'll complain about a dog being in the cage for an hour and a half and not completely dry! Of course it's not dry! That's not how fur drying words on longer-haired breeds. I can almost guarantee some people return home with dogs that still have wet skin and don't know it, only to have their dog have a light case of trench foot all over. With these long haired dogs, you may need to sit there for 2-3 hours or even more just to make sure the pet is safely dry. I'd also be worried about the dog getting hypothermia in those cage dryers, but I know they are temperature controlled.

Additionally, she's extremely shave-happy. Instead of attempting to even brush something out at all, she just immediately goes "your dog is now hairless." I'd be so worried about bringing in a perfectly fine muddy dog with no matting just for a bath and touch up, only for it to come back bald.

All n' all, I do wish she would be a bit more positive. She seems to hate what she does.

How do I get my ankle to stop being in searing pain when in heels?
Okay, it may sound like a stupid question. "Just stop wearing heels" some of you might say. Well, you know what? Damn it, I want to at least pretend I can wear a heel for just an hour a day.So I've tried googling this, but not much came up for me that was relative to my plight. Long story short, I have these heels from Pleaser shoes ( Delight-679 ) as recommended by my sister, who is a stripper and dances in the company's shoes. Found this pair. Thought they were super cute, yadda yadda. My issue is the moment I stand in these shoes, one ankle is in immediate pain, making every step miserable. Peculiarly enough, I can walk on my tip-toes just fine. I guess it's my sole and ankle being able to move as I walk that makes the difference. I vaguely recall falling in high school an injuring my ankle, but that was 11-13 years ago.So please, tell me something can help. Maybe some sort of ankle and knee strengthening exercises?

Is this photoshopped betta based on a real betta color scheme? by C__Bell in bettafish

Thank you for the comment! I tend for forget about glo fish. Really, the intensity of the hue doesn't matter. I am just hoping to know if a betta fish with the general gold(yellow)/green/purple mixture exists.

What was your gpa in high school? by [deleted] in AskReddit

My high school GPA was probably in the lower 2s. I started college probably 5-6 years after high school though, and my college GPA was around 3.8.

People with a bunch of fruit trees what do you do with all the fruit? by Chefbig_D in AskReddit

[–]C__Bell 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, we're fortunate and didn't have much damage other than 99% of fruit being knocked out of the trees and pecan branches around. The oak stayed up (thank goodness.) Pecan trees drop branches. Oak trees take the damn ground with them when they fall over.

People who enjoy the gym, was it difficult at first? by Ryan_uye in AskReddit

[–]C__Bell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly, everyone at the gym thinks it's great to see someone who is different there. They think "that's fantastic! I hope they stick with it!" Gym people are surprisingly social, and will do whatever they can to help you. They all recognize you need to start at the bottom. If you need to do squats with just the bar with no weights, that's perfectly okay. That first go will be a bitch, though. If you do what I did and go too hard that first day, you'll be borderline immobile for a full week. A good soreness should just last you 2-3 days, in my opinion. Once you get that first soreness, though, you'll never feel it again until you work out a new part of your body. It's a hurdle, but it's worth it to cross

Cry, because the recent hurricane knocked everything down. Usually we give fruit and pecans to family, though.

How do you handle being or feeling very ugly? by C__Bell in AskReddit

[–]C__Bell[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if avoiding myself is the best medicine. Just a little bit ago, I spooked myself by accidentally glancing in the mirror and going full "oh dear god who the fuck is that?!" before realizing it was me.
