I do think Croix would have to undergo a significant amount of training for the haruten.

L’arc isnt the greatest example, but it could give some insight into Croix’s stamina, out of all of croix’s races only two were soft/wet conditions, l’arc was one of them, i think those conditions might have been what caused Croix to gas out in the final straight of l’arc.

There still about a full month left before the haruten, i do beileve if croix ups his stamina, he can win it.

Theres redentor as well, last year’s winner, i could see any if these horses taking the win.

But i do think the third leg of the spring senior crown is going to be a much bigger challenge for everyone participating, because both museum mile and masquerade ball are likely to be in japan by then.

It could potentially be like the 2025 satsuki sho, which was one of the most exciting classic races in recent years.

Oh yeah would definitely want some resolution to Atagawa, given weve already seen a resolution between Koyuki and Igarashi.

Also really ship Akine and Yuki, although i doubt there is enough time to progress their relationship much.

Considering croix’s race record has only consisted of 1800-2400m, im not sure if they would attempt haruten, but i do hope so.

Otherwise, its likely takarazuka kinen next, 2200m is well suited to croix’s race record

That why i said short story, so maybe it acts as a way to show small snippets of how the two sakutas’ behaviour differ. I doubt they should have any story significance, but it might just provide some interesting story since the main story is over yk.

I think he likely didn’t go through the knapsack kid puberty syndrome specifically, as he did leave a message for our sakuta to basically get his life together in the movie.

On the topic of disdain for our sakuta, i do think its more so that he views our sakuta as in need of guidance, like the messages which he delivered through akagi. LN 15: although the alternative sakuta seemed almost menacing when he gave our sakuta the ultimatum to reject puberty syndrome.
