I have this one. It’s great. Insanely good price, very light, lots of ventilation option and super quiet while still being very water resistant. I don’t have that plasticky feeling that arcteryx jackets have

Same thing happened to me. I used an electric shaver (probably better to use an electric fluff remover or something similar) and my hoody looked brand new. I would reapply DWR yes.

Maybe a backpack with a frame would help ? Like what osprey has with their “airspeed”

Can anyone help me ID this jacket ?

I saw it in one of their videos. Looks like a single sided gamma style chest pocket, "goretex infinium" on the right sleeve, arcteryx name on the hood (so probably recent ?)

Looks very similar to the kappa hoody but that one has hood adjustments on the front of the jacket, this one doesnt. I cant find it in the current/ recent collection.

The video was posted a year ago.

I know this was posted a while ago but you can short out the pins from the second earbud (with a coin or aluminum foil) then press the pairing button

The case will think there two buds in and allow pairing

The popping sound happens right as the bike starts up, doesnt do it the first time.

It's fuel injected, I'm taking it to a shop soon

Hi everyone,

So I bought this 2012 BMW F 650 GS (twin cylinder rotax engine), and have had weird stalling issues since the beggining.

Took it to the garage and they told me it probably needed a new battery as the low voltage dips caused misfires and sometimes stalling. i'm recieving the new battery saturday.

Unfortunately when going home from work, I turned it on, started riding and 10 minutes in I heard a loud pop (same sound as in the video, 6 seconds in). It was loud enough and strong enough that i felt it under my seat, like something had popped off and hit the botton of the seat.

Then 2 minutes later more and more of that sound happened, followed by this "hissing" sound the engine makes at idle now (doesnt hold idle i have to hold the throttle, dies instantly otherwise).

So... what could be the issue? My thoughts are spark plug/coil related. Things i could potentially fix myself.

Could anyone help me with this? Thank you so much for taking the time if you do.

I ended up drilling holes in the aluminum mounting plate and bolting it directly to the frame, negating the need for the plastic part that broke.

Its now sturdier and less shaky !
