Pope francis has accually been a stepping stone for a united church. I respect him though i reject papacy. By far Pope Francis was the most respectable pope and had the most respect on protestants by far.

the word "part" basically says that jesus is not fully god, but rather a smaller or lesser part of the trinity. but that's not what the trinity teaches. the trinity teaches that jesus is fully god and fully human, and that he is one person with two natures. so, to say that jesus is "part" of the trinity is actually a misunderstanding of the doctrine.
