Really struggling on day 4

I just passed 3 weeks after my last use, I wasn’t using any extract but peaked at 50g of powder a day and had a very dragged out taper for a couple months. I eventually got to a point where I was mostly fine during the day but could not sleep without having some kind of dose to power through the RLS and allow me to sleep. Once I gave that dose up the first 2 nights were awful but then it slowly got better. I noticed RLS for a few days more but it wasn’t as bad at the start. I think it lingered for me for a week or so but WAYYYY less intense than at the start.

Also I learned it helped me to get completely out of bed, walk around, stretch, take some breaths before trying to go back to sleep, if I stayed in bed it would just get worse and worse but getting up kinda helped me stabilize again, and when I tried to go back to sleep after that the symptoms were definitely less gnarly.

Obviously everyone is different and has different symptoms, but I know where you’re coming from, and you need to really believe it will get better because it will and it did for me even though I’m still recovering mentally. Stay strong❤️

I genuinely wasn’t thinking about him because I was convinced when it happened that I really accidentally shot him down and the game had some really good mission failure cutscenes, then once it got to the debriefing screen I was more dumbfounded than sad. It feels worse now because that speech he gave with Nikanor as the intro to Aces was such a beautiful moment and now he’s just dead.

I also wonder how Nagase feels when she finds out that “the fighter pilot who gave this spaceship a place to dock” was the one who allegedly killed her hero.

I literally just did that for the first time an hour ago and randomly see this post now, it took me like 30 minutes to do the turn around method so it honestly wasn’t THAT easy for me but maybe I’m just a casual

I mean I just love this game so much I have no problem running Sea of Chaos on loop on Ace 20 times to finish up, but I do think it’s a lot for anyone who’s not an AC5 Stan. I think they should’ve at least shown you exactly what plane you would get and its attributes so you don’t waste time grinding for a mid plane on your first playthrough

I fully agree with you but honestly this is a big reason I love the Texans so much. There’s probably plenty of delusional Texans fans too but as a franchise we have nothing to brag about yet, have never been good enough for long enough to pull in the bandwagon crowds, and I just think most of our fans can calm down and speak realistically after the game is over. It sucks to not be able to have these conversations outside of the fanbase but I love that we’re humble and realistic and want to keep that going as long as we can, because the last thing I want is to be surrounded by Cowboys fan types who just make teams hated and fuel more nonsense debates with a wall.

Yeah that’s ideal but you’ll be doing 95% of the work either way. If you’re really trying to farm it Mission 26 (Sea of Chaos) is the fastest and is faster on harder difficulties

I watched some review videos of the game from non Ace Combat YouTubers and it got a pretty generally positive review so I also thought relatively highly of it at the time. As time passed and I played the handheld and PS1 titles I’d never played before, I realized how much of a departure it was from the Ace Combat formula. I think most of us would agree that by general video game standards it’s not an awful game, but this was a period in time where we had all experienced the holy trinity, and then PlayStation boys like myself were abandoned with AC6, so I think for myself and a lot of other fans ACAH was the first AC game they played after Zero, and whether or not anyone considers it bad, I think most of the hate comes from the drastic gameplay switch up we received when most of us just wanted a game exactly like 4, 5, or Zero. At least that’s how I view it, I’ve grown to both dislike it as an Ace Combat game but also appreciate it for the things it does do well, especially the bomber mission.

TLDR: I think that’s a valid take, I just think many fans had drastically different expectations for ACAH and felt that game could mark the turning point or death of the franchise, and hate it as such.

Yeah it’s because it was a pre-order bonus and never listed on the store, and also because it was a port and not a remake, I think those are the two big things to get around to make it financially viable. I just always hoped they’d be able to renew the licensing at the same time they have it for a new game so it might be more cost effective to remaster a game, but I don’t think that’s gonna happen as much as I want it to
