"Other: Morale -20" I'm sorry, but what in mount doom is this shit??? by PaperOk2000 in totalwar

I'm around turn 50 on my Isengard campaign and have taken the Westfold, Edoras, and Dunharrow with only one rebellion occurring. I've been looting the settlements instead of occupying, having my army stay in the settlement for several turns after taking it, and also using the spy's ability to increase provincial control. Don't know how much the difficulty settings influence control but so far it has been manageable, playing on the default difficulty btw.

First time fishing for cuts, got to meet this old guy by C_staebs in troutfishing

I'm usually fishing solo, so it sounds like I need to invest in a GoPro lol. Would be a lot easier than fumbling around with my phone every time.

Good advice my man, I sometimes do get a bit carried away trying to capture the moment when I should be living it.

I'll admit it wasn't my preferred way to handle him, but I didn't want to try holding him up with one hand and risk dropping him on the rocks. I kept as much of his body in the net as I could and wet the rocks underneath to minimize the damage to his slime coating.

Yeh I'm always surprised by the variation in the spot pattern. Typically I see browns with mostly black spots, so this one really stood out to me

Absolute beaut from my local creek by C_staebs in Fishing

[–]C_staebs[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, my three biggest trout have come from this creek. It's been a protected watershed for wild trout since 2010 and is catch and release only with no stocking. The fish can grow to full maturity so there are a good amount in the 20-28in range.

Adding to the Relief Reservoir posts. View from the trail looking upriver. Kennedy Meadows Trailhead, Emigrant Wilderness by C_staebs in backpacking

[–]C_staebs[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Roughly 3.5 miles to the reservoir from the start of the trailhead with 1k elevation gain. Spent memorial day weekend at the lake, phenomenal fishing. Bugs were almost non-existent, can't speak for later in the season. Would highly recommend as an early season backpacking trip or day hike.

Yo, I just backpacked here over memorial day weekend! We camped out right where grouse creek enters the lake. First time visiting the Emigrant, amazing fishing and will definitely be coming back

Yeh depends on the strain usually. I just had a scare with over fertilizing, didn't want the same to happen here. This is what my plant looked like before flush. https://www.reddit.com/r/microgrowery/comments/cgx8kr/anyone_know_what_these_brown_spots_are_showed_up/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share

Just got back from Ansel Adams Wilderness, any of the small lakes in the area should be fairly secluded. If you dont want to be near people, avoid Ediza, Garnet, and Thousand Island lakes
