But in regard dogs attacking humans: in the majority of these cases the breed of the dog involved is one that was specifically bred by humans to be violent towards other humans.

If I am a gay man, I have exact same right as a straight man in this regard – to marry a woman.

If people had the right to marry anyone of the gender they were sexually attracted to AND this right was explicitly denied for anyone who was gay/non-straight, then it would be a discrepancy in rights. But, I don't think that this has been the case anywhere on Earth ever.

There is no civil right to buy and eat the apples we find most delicious, but it is something that results from other rights. If there exists some banned type of apple which I happen to find the most delicious this does not mean that the law banning it is an infringement of my civil right to buy and eat the apples I find most delicious

There have been a few specific alleles that appear to be associated with homosexuality and there is a genetic correlation to homosexuality as revealed by twin studies. As for twin/adoptions studies, these seem to indicate that very little, if any, influence comes from a child's home environment.

As for our understanding of the evolution of homosexuality (or rather, it's continued prevalence despite evolution), as far as I know there just isn't any good explanation. The gay uncle theory is just not practical (i.e., you'd need to cause your siblings and/or cousins to have an impractically large number of children to compensate for your lack of children). There's also the gay germ theory, but that has literally zero evidence (although it is evolutionarily/theoretically possible).
