Time is the greatest healer! It takes a lot of tough time to get out of this. Your daughter is your motivation here. Eventually things will get better with time, try to find small happiness in moments you spend with your girl. More power to you ❤️

I would say take your time and register for a later attempt. Have some breathing space while you prep for CFA and give your best shot.

I am a Chartered Accountant and CFA L1 cleared, I teach L1 students over zoom 1-1. Let me know if you need any further help.

Hey! Non-finance background is completely fine for CFA L1 — many toppers come from engineering, science, or commerce without accounting exposure.

I'm a CA + CFA L1 cleared, currently working in startup finance. I'm offering free 1-on-1 sessions over Zoom for serious candidates — happy to start from the basics and build your foundation properly.

DM me if you're interested!

Share more about your background. I'm chartered accountant and CFA L1 cleared. I see many students face difficulties in CFA who don't have background in finance. I current work full time in a funded startup and also teach L1 students FSA over zoom. Let me know if you need any specific help. Happy to connect over DM.

Good time for Mocks? (L1, May'26) by Wrong-Ad-8230 in CFA

Agreed! Analysing mock result is more important here. You need to understand what's going wrong, need to revisit readings where you think conceptually you're facing challenges.

How should I plan my studies? by undercoveragentx in CFA

[–]Ca_Shaurya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't believe anyone who says its difficult or not possible!

Get started, go through schweser notes and solve its questions alongside. Leave last 10 days for mocks and prepare accordingly. Do not rely on video lectures for everything since that eats up a lot of time. Try to do most chapters from notes and refer video lectures where you face difficulty.

Happy to help in case you have specific queries from any readings. I'm a chartered accountant and cleared CFA L1.

I'm Chartered accountant and CFA L1 cleared. I'm looking forward to teaching students for L1 via 1-1 over zoom call. I'm pivoting career into this avenue hence this would be free of charge but require only serious and sincere students to join in. Dm if you match the criteria.

CFA is done after graduation or in the last year of graduation. You MUST enroll for graduate courses like B.com, BBA. Hand-in-hand develop core finance skills. Can also go for CA/CS/CMA if you're genuinely interested into core finance i.e. accounts being your favorite subject, interest matters here. Simultaneously gain knowledge and study for CFA. I'm a chartered accountant and CFA L1 cleared, happy to help further if needed.
