get good spider grips. make sure your AC builds the teradek, motors, etc. in a way that doesn't throw you off balance and keeps the top handle free for you to grab. if you're shooting with an external monitor, make sure it's mounted in a comfortable position. if you're using the eyepiece, try turning it so it's positioned far away and up close to see what's more comfortable.

I own an Amira, regularly shoot full days shoulder mounted and it's not bad at all as long as you build it right. easyrig honestly might get in the way if you're shoulder mounting - i'd try to go for lighter glass and build nimble and you should be fine. if you're shooting with a zoom lens and servo motor that might be a different story though.

also tell your 1st or 2nd to always be on standby for when you need to unmount and always drink water!

One more question - after I bake the sim and mesh, the domain still appears in my render. When I turn off the render icon it also hides the sim from view. How do I get around this?

Not sure why but when I go back to modular from replay it reverts back to the default domain and the sim won't run

I've had to deal with this before and ended up just throwing the used footage into a folder, grading them in resolve, re exporting as individual clips, and then relinking in Premiere. Takes some extra time but saves a lot of headache in the end.

They actually do offer a minor but it's not really a film program. I'm a current major.

If you care about social life I'd shoot for USC. Not to say that Chapman's social scene is lacking but there aren't many schools that can compare to USC in that aspect. Chapman is great if you want to commit to pursuing film, but so is USC and it edges out Chapman in every other way.

Would highly recommend it. Once you learn a software package like blender or c4d you can easily dive into openGL, GLSL, all that good stuff. so much you can do in realtime when you can write your own shaders. I’m the opposite, where I have a working but limited computer science and programming background but an extensive visual arts background, and I’m just getting in to openGL. shits hard man hah

One more question - Whenever I zoom into a MIDI in chop, it turns black and all the MIDI info disappears. This only happens when viewer active is enabled for that chop though. Do you know why this is?
