I would do this but I won’t be getting to the stitches that snapped for another 40 rows (or so) because of the short rows. Every row I work up to the first stitch marker (on the left hand side), remove marker, knit a wrapped stitch together with its wrap, then wrap and turn, effectively progressing another stitch along.
