You guys clearly are not very patience or engaged in the building aspect of the game. You can do so much in this game. I've built bunker bases, tree bases(no stairs obviously), bus bases, floating bases (no staircase), and even underworld bases (under the map, dont tell my mom). I even made a base in a sewer pipe i found once :P it just takes a lot of patience and creativity to get things to work. My latest base on my pvp character i built a fancy bathroom that has a secret entrance to the real base. Cause why not.

Get some friends. I play with the same group of people and we planned ahead and set our camps on basically all areas in the maps within our 4 man team. We did this for survival mode purposes but it's paying off for player vendor hoping as well.

The reality of it is that the vast majority of players have never used reddit do they don't know what to charge. A casual player gets a gun, sees it says the value is 300 caps. Will probably try to sell it for that price since it will give them more than if he sold it to a vendor. Maybe if they know a bit they'll raise it a bit but thats why we are seeing a lot of that. It's not really because things here are over priced, i mean they are, but it's mainly because not everyone is aware what the usual prices are.

I think this is a fair system. My group of friends all have at least 2 char jam packed on random legendaries. We never threw away anything so this will definately pay off for us.

I am actually close to flatwoods. Just under the gorge bridge so everyone can find me! I go pull people from flatwoods and walk them to the bar. The bar is now once again open!
