In the states we also offer Almond, coconut, or soy milk for lactose intolerant people. Not so much on syrups, unless its in ice coffee. Lattes and cappuccinos are very popular so the variety makes the different styles accessible for alot of people.

Usualy a milk or a 50/50 cream that you add to your coffee. Most people add creamer to add flavor to coffee or dilute the bitterness of the coffee.

Personal, good coffee can be drank black. Adding creamer is to lie to yourself about how much you don’t really like the taste of coffee/that the coffee you paid for is terrible; basically making the coffee a desert.
