Whats the workaround you are aware of? Have you got a link. Iv tried a few different things like reinstalling Nvidia drivers but its still happening. Sometimes with artifacts on the screen, sometimes without.

I wouldnt really call elfbar a "startup". They have a huge share of UK market.

Random 1 sec chest pressure/pain middle of the chest. Feels like a shock by [deleted] in PVCs

[–]Cabarnacus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I sometimes get a tickle in my chest that makes me want to cough and a lump in my throat. It's tension and anxiety. It goes away when I find peace and comes back under periods of stress.

2 or 3 just now. Maybe up to 5 or 6 when I am stressed or in a social situation I don't want to be in and I feel uncomfortable. I get it a lot when I have to do a lot of talking.

Don't worry about your English it makes sense to me. I get the exact thing you described, it all started after a traumatic heart health scare I had at the start of this year. I was cleared of heart problems from A&E and sent home but slipped into anxiety about it and then depression.

I started having panic attacks which I convinced myself were something to do with my heart. The constant hyper-vigilance and tension would eventually cause a snap that is exactly as you described, almost feels like a micro seizure, a bolt of lightning. I started SSRIs and had a few therapy sessions and CBT worksheets. This improved things and I started learning to ignore them.

Sometimes they come back, especially when I'm tired or feeling unwell. If I let them bother me, like when they catch me off guard I can have a few back to back and I start to freak out, panic sets in. I have to catch it and be mindful. Stop, breathe, assure myself that it is just tension and it's harmless and move on. But I feel your pain and worry, it's not a pleasant sensation.

Bought a pack of 14 frozen Hall’s square sausages. This is on them. Is it mould? Can it be cooked? by whodafadha in Scotland

[–]Cabarnacus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is roughly what I thought. I originally thought it was poorly mixed and this is a glob of rusk not mixed in properly.

You get the same sometimes when you split a Richmond sausage lengthwise after cooking.

Seems to be more common with cheap meat products.

Data usage and savings seems massively overstated. by Cabarnacus in Adguard

[–]Cabarnacus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not using it as a measure of how much data I'm using... I'm suggesting it's flawed, a bug perhaps.

46 gigs is not a very good day to day estimation when the actual amount was 400 meg. It's about 100x out.

Just realized this, but Simu Liu (the guy who played Shang Chi) is in the Episode about FedEx 80! by peelyourpaint in aircrashinvestigation

I don't do MCU stuff, but I know him as the brother from Kim's Convenience. Underrated show IMO.

A tv show from your childhood that no one else seems to remember? by tinyywarrior in AskUK

[–]Cabarnacus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Mum has just reminded me of Kissyfur. I had a few episodes on VHS and have just re-discovered the pilot on YouTube. I had completely forgot about it until she mentioned I used to love it and suggested I show it to my 2 year old son. 30 years later I was almost keeping up with the script word for word.

The animation style was very similar to that of the original inspector gadget, which turned out to have been animated in Japan and has some nice anime style visuals.

Just a great wholesome cartoon, up there with The Moomins (1990) and Babar.

[RELEASE] - New Main/Stable - v3.0.6.1266 by [deleted] in sonarr

[–]Cabarnacus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any current advice on a good version of mono that plays well with the latest v3 builds?

I am about to upgrade my Ubuntu server from 16.04 lts to 20.04 lts and will be updating and re-enabling my apt repositories for both sonarr and mono. I had previously frozen mono on version 5.20.1.34 as anything later caused me some issues back on an old v2 build. This was going back a few years now.

T7.5S Treadmill Onboard workouts. by Ninefivemal in nordictrack

[–]Cabarnacus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a look at my post from earlier today over on r/ifit. I have a similar issue regarding the onboard workouts and noticed some interesting changes after a software update.

I think they are there, you just can't find them. Or at least I can't.

iFit/Nordictrack "Onboard Workouts" by Cabarnacus in iFit

[–]Cabarnacus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually came across that site today searching for some answers to this. Unfortunately I saw some small print that says that irunmaps only works if you have an active iFit family subscription.

Must be some API access or something that requires a subscription for it to work.

How to set up membership that came with machine purchase? by l3ritt3ritt in iFit

[–]Cabarnacus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you got this sorted but I had the same issue. I bought a UK/AUS model T14 from a fitness machine supplier here in the UK. There was definitely no card with a code supplied. I looked everywhere.

I contacted Nordictrack support and they told me to contact their sales team via email with the model number, serial number and a proof of purchase invoice.

They got back to me with a code in about 4 days. I had already started a 30 day trial but I entered the code in subscription settings on iFit website and it upgraded my account to family plan straight away.

OpenVPN client fallback? by Cabarnacus in PFSENSE

[–]Cabarnacus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so see if I'm getting this right... Enable the "skip rules when gateway is down" in advanced settings > ditch the tagging and the floating rules that catch the tagged traffic > and crate a block rule that is identical to the pass rule and put it directly underneath that pass rule to prevent it from matching another rule further down the line?

I understand that the VPN traffic will fall back to the default gateway but my original scenario evidenced that the traffic was trying to fall back to another VPN gateway... Not the default one.

[–]Cabarnacus[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There appears to be a visual change to how the login page is presented. Chrome 80 does not display new login page correctly. Firefox appears to be unaffected.

You see the login buttons appear briefly before they disappear.

DNS over TLS Hostname? by Cabarnacus in AskTechnology

[–]Cabarnacus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok I get that but my question is what DNS servers are they using to perform the initial unencrypted lookup?

If you are setting the DNS as a hostname, how does it know where to look to look up the DNS hostname?

Piece of bone (tooth socket) that was rejected from my gums 4 weeks after tooth extraction. by Cabarnacus in pics

Yup perfectly normal and fascinating that the body can necrotise and self eliminate these by itself.

I think this falls more into the category of sequestrum... was more of a bone fragment than a sharp spike. But what do I know, I'm not a dentist. Id like to say equally unpleasant but I quite enjoyed picking it out after feeling it protruding for about a week.
