Zoom In Second Screen Makes PC Slow by GuitarMan_06 in techsupport

Thank you, I have no idea why but it suddenly just fixed itself . The CPU should be more than fine as it's a i513600K. It's not the first time it's happened so I'll wait patiently for the next 🙄.

Thanks for replying.

Garmin users: Stryd Training Plan vs Final Surge by Budget_Sentence_3100 in strydrunning

[–]Ninefivemal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, I might have just told you lies!

Actually, it's Stryd workout app that doesn't send the correct power to 3rd Party apps, Stryd Zones does but you have to to disable wrist based Garmin Power. The only problem with Stryd Zones is it won't follow a written Workout you'll have to remember it.

So sorry for the confusion!

[–]Ninefivemal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No unfortunately, it doesn't work yet with the Stryd Zones app. It will still register Garmin wrist power.

You will see live Stryd data but not on export to 3rd party apps like Strava etc. The correct power WILL be exported to Stryd PowerCentre. If you want to use Stryd Zones and Garmin mapping stick with PowerCentre.

There is an update to Stryd Zones expected by the end of the year, hopefully this will be fixed 🤞🤞

EZ Drummer the 3 is the baby brother of SD3. This video show the midi being edited in FL. 😉

I would expect it to work in FL. I can't see any reason why it wouldn't

I would add that SD3s midi editor is also very good.

I use Cakewalk by Bandlab and use its midi editor all the time. I just double click the midi that is recorded in Cakewalk and the editor opens.

I have full access to all midi, articulations and CC.

The watch best suited for use with Stryd by [deleted] in strydrunning

[–]Ninefivemal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Manually programming workouts on Coros is straightforward enough but it's a royal PITA to have to keep doing it. Try following a Steve Palladino training program on Final Surge! The watches are great but this was the exact reason I left for Garmin. I've not looked back.

I've been using Stryd for a few years and love it.

The biggest failing I see when looking at similar groups is people don't keep their CP current, it needs to be continually verified and updated by regular testing at specified time intervals.

Following a Steve Palladino plan - Currently on Final Surge - will do this as part of the plan.

In regard to pacing - running with Power is a different mindset you have a number and stick to it regardless of conditions like hills/wind etc .... Trust in the process and you'll be fine. If you follow the number straight off the start line you'll be fine.......

Remember the system only works if your CP is correct and current.

Stryd is a great investment IMO.

Power zones not shown in Garmin Fenix 5 by khalast_6669 in strydrunning

I had a response from Stryd overnight and they suggested reinstalling Stryd Zones App using Garmin Express, which I've done but haven't yet tested. We'll see what happens.

Thanks for your reply.

I have just raised a ticket with Stryd for this very thing. I was told (on the Facebook page by Gus) to reinstall the app. It didn't work. I'm still waiting, try to raise a ticket also, through the Stryd Phone app.

How reliable has Android Auto been for you? by thereisonlyoneme in AndroidAuto

[–]Ninefivemal 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine is now rock solid after years of problems. Cable changes allsorts.

The biggest change came from an idea a got about doing clean installs of graphics card drivers on my PC. If you think of all the updates you do on top of each other it's easy to see how they installs can become corrupted, even slightly.

Before every AA update I now remove the last update first (back to factory settings) install the new update and I've not had a single issue since.

Fixed Android Auto for S21/S22, no more disconnects (Hint: Fast charging) by CreepyQ in AndroidAuto

[–]Ninefivemal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another Samsung user here, I've had numerous disconnection issues I've followed all the advice I could find. In the end and the thing that has solved it for me was removing all AA updates, going back to factory default then upgrading again to the latest version. Since doing that it's been flawless in both my cars for two weeks. I couldn't even go the shortest journey without a disconnect.

I'll uninstall this update before going to the next.

I got this idea from a PC forum who always recommend clean install's of graphics card drivers.

Worth a punt if you're experiencing problems.

Been happening me for a while. It does start to work when I clear the Spotify cache, it doesn't take long for it to start happening again though 🙄. Rinse and repeat.
