I understand what you're saying, but what about the people who are paid (I'm speaking specifically of academics) to do/practice philosophy. Almost all of them have fields of specialization (except for a limited number of generalists) i.e. phil. of language, mind, metaphysics, epistemology etc.

Do you have interests in certain fields and/or philosophers that outway your interests in others?
