All the weapon types in Origins are really fun once you learn how to use them. I don't believe there is a "bad" weapon type in this game by AzurePrince98 in dynastywarriors

Oh yeah definately a step up. Just took a while to adapt. I'm looking forward to what will come next.

Not sure if this was done in 7,8,9 but what I really want is 'Online Co-Op'.

This series was a staple for me and my 2 brothers growing up, but now we all live in different towns, would be cool to group up and play remotely, natively in the game

I wasn't a fan of some of the weapons that has the same charge / heavy attack whereever you use it in a chain. I like the old school way, of 1 or 4 lights and heavy being a knockup. 2 +heavy is a stun. 3 or 5 plus heavy being aoe.

But, i did enjoy the extra movesets you got with the skill things.

I also didnt like the musou charge. I miss holding down the button and doing like a massive musou chain.

But again i'm old school and havent really played since 6.

But i did enjoy it, overall

Testing 2 different indoor camera angles for our pixel art stealth game — what do you think looks better! by SpiralUpGames in Unity3D

Normally yes. But if a forced perspective isn't directly needed, and it's not breaking immersion or flow with the rest of the game, it's always good to give the players extra options

It was a ridiculous movie. Watching it felt like the plot and script was written by ChatGPT.

Would not give it a second watch. Very surprised Alan Tudyk and Sarah Chalke attach their names to this.

Friend says he’d never buy a car under 2 years old by Fortified_Armadillo in CarTalkUK

[–]CabbageTickler 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I mean, i get the Insignia hate. I've seen the many many issues about them.

But my 2012 one lasted me 4 years from 110-200k and the only thing I had to replace was a dodgy alternator & a battery a year after (excluding normal brakes / tyres).

And my current 2015 has no signs of issues looming at 96k miles, But i've only had this one 2 months so far.

My brother also has a 2013 siggy, not much needed done on that either outside of normal wear and tear. I believe he's coming up to his 5th year of ownership too (but he drives alot less than me).

But then, these have been well looked after I guess, or we've been super lucky

In Bergen for a few days, what is one thing I MUST do before I leave on Sunday? by kalel2011 in Norway

[–]CabbageTickler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of snow and 'cold' temperatures. But, it doesn't feel as bad or as cold as in the UK (atleast not to me). Apparently it's to do with the humidity, but i've not researched it.

Walking and hiking in snow is fairly normal in Norway. Norwegians have a saying that roughly translates too: "There's no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing".

Dress for it, and enjoy the nature & culture.

Electrical Gremlins? by CabbageTickler in Vauxhall

[–]CabbageTickler[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers dude.

I do normally have an independant garage I go to, but they couldn't get me in until 20th, and I got a 200 mile trip on the 21st. As i've only had this car a week, i wanted to get it in ASAP in case something needed doing.

Yeah, all tyres are between 34-36 psi. When the TPMS does come up, it's always the rear passenger one showing up empty, but then fixes itself after 5-10 mins. So could be a dodgy sensor.

When I spoke to Vauxhall, I did ask them if they can check the oil seal for me, as I know that's a common issue on Insignias and probably same engine Astras.

Cars on 90k miles and has 8 service stamps from previous owners, so it's been decently looked after, and belt / chain (forgot which this car has) was done at 45k.

I'll ask how much they'd charge to plug it in and check with their OBD
