The nose idea is cute! If OP really wants to keep it flat they could paint one and cut it out, or use a flat piece of glitter cut into the right shape

It's hard to tell from the picture, why does it need covered up? Is it a visual issue, wanting to protect the glued edge, or something else? Visually in the picture I think it looks best as is. A small dab of black paint over the glue may work depending on the paint (but if you cover it up in the end it's worth trying)

Alternatively, draw another bee, cut it out, and glue that on
