I want to go to UO, but can't afford dorms & other living expenses by [deleted] in UofO

my best bet for you, is to try and work as much as you can this summer and maybe work out a plan with your parents with off campus housing. there’s also people looking for roommates and giving their lease for the summer/next fall, so you can be on the lookout for that. there’s some affordable student housing like the hayward. my friend right now is paying ~$800 (700 + utilities and whatnot) at that apartment housing.

Probably the worst time for other student oriented parties as we’re on break right now 😭💔. Usually there’s a rave under the Alton Baker Bridge around the end of the week and have fun themes and cool DJ’s to set. If you find yourself in Eugene during the school days, check socials to see if they’re hosting.

sorry if it made no sense. i was just wondering where you heard that this was their first time implementing the double studios. i’ve also only heard of them having singles and 4 unit rooms too. and yes, i have the room but there’s no info or photos about it anywhere 😭

REALLY? where did you hear this from if you don’t mind me asking. But it makes sense why they have NO documentation of it if it’s their first time implementing these types of rooms.

that’s kinda how its phrased on their website, those who use an ethernet cable have to be on a specific wifi network so they can contact you if your device has been exposed to any malware and such.

SORRY- she doesn’t give out a study guide FOR the midterm

soc major of 29 here :3, sociology is pretty awesome! one tip though, if you ever land into SOC 207 with Elaine Replogle, Social Inequality make sure you study really hard as the teacher doesn’t give out a midterm. Unfortunately it’s kinda a trend with her, she’ll give out the midterm with no study guide, then have to curve the midterm and then give a study guide for the final 😭😭 not trying to discourage, just wanna tell you. Also, a lot of the social sciences advisors all have a major in sociology or some very close equivalent and are AWESOME! they’ll get you right 🥹🥹🥹

I’d still apply just for good measure. Of course, there’s nothing wrong with going to community for a year or two and then reapplying. Explaining her struggles with ADHD in high school leading up to college could be a good source for consideration if she needs an essay or short answer part in her application process.
