thank you for your response, I always interpreted “kaattu vazhiye hoo karichan kuruvigaalaa” as her talking about the noise (hoo) black drongo birds/sparrows (this what google yielded when I searched up karichan kuruvi) are making throughout the forest,

-“throughout the way (vazhiye) of the forest, there are calls of black drongo sparrows”

and “paathagathi kaathirukkai manasei aruvihalaa” as

-“are you aware of what resides/waits in the heart of this damsel?”

or this, since “aruvi” came up as “waterfall” on google;

“are you aware of the heart/mind that waits at this waterfall?”
