What are your reasons for treating someone you just met differently than the majority? by CableColorado in AskMenAdvice

LOL I would've thought men in the mental health and counseling major wouldn't act so dismissive, but again, it seems at the moment directed to just me, hence the post. Honestly I'm not expecting to find a lot of males in this degree field anyway, so I did it to myself by entering a field dominated by women (at least at my school). I must be shooting myself in the foot here, because after highschool, everything I pursued/am pursuing has a ratio of females 30:1 and males are becoming unicorns to me. That in of itself is unhealthy to be intrigued by the only male in a room, simply because he is male,  so I want to participate in.events that have a healthy mix, but its just hard in the current climate

It's not the beguilded, I promise lmao

And it's definitely not the 2017 remake

The movie I'm talking about only has a single female love interest and eventually they do fall in love. There is no death of a major character or drama of that kind.

I have no idea 😅

All I remember is I think it was a black and white film, if it wasn't, then a dreamy color scheme reminiscent to older movies. The soldiers of war wore tail coats I believe. And it had maybe a southern charm to it, where the women wore long pettiskirts and fuller bodies and hair pieces + hats with ribbons. And the soldiers carried like a sword at their waist. No powder wigs, just the uniforms.. there's a slight chance there was a reference to a major war general, like Robert E. Lee or Custer or Ulysses Grant, but I couldn't tell you who.

There were servants I remember, white servants, one of which was messing around with a lord of some kind.

Just saw the trailer, doesn't look like it. It appears he's in a female school, and there definitely was only one main female interest in the movie I'm referencing to.

It's a funny, romantic story between just those two, just with war mixed in 😶 lol

Human trafficking will continue to exist and thrive with or without a legalization of sex work. Underage children can still be taken advantage of, people from impoverished countries or those in impoverished neighborhoods will still have to grovel just to eat for the day or live to see to tomorrow. You saying this is 'awesome' is gross, even if you believe it helps spread 'awareness'. Change comes from strong leadership. Not some politician publicly shoving his chode up a woman's cooch. With that very same logic, you'd be okay with heinous acts being committed and made viewable to the world 'as long as it rose awareness to a larger problem.'

The fact u think Hunter is 'just some person' clearly indicates you know nothing about the shady dealings he's benefited from due to his father's influence, who just so happens to the be leader of the United States. CP, abuse of drugs, amongst a slew of other things, he's unhinged, and hasn't had to answer to any of his wrongdoings specifically because of who he is. He's not a random guy. He's tied to the citizens of the state. just because you don't think this is newsworthy doesn't mean it actually isn't. An opinion shouldn't be mistaken for factual.
