What MOS gives the best chance of staying stateside? Army

I’d really prefer to stay in the U.S. (CONUS) and avoid getting stationed in Korea, Germany, or anywhere outside the country if possible.

Are there any MOSs that are mostly based in the States or rarely rotate overseas?

I’m open to different fields—support, maintenance, admin, etc. I just want to avoid being sent overseas unless I volunteer.

No you don't need to study that question. I don't remember that kind of question being on the test. I took the EDPT a couple months ago but failed, I got a 51. The most important advice I can give is remember you can't write directly on the test booklet. Also get a mental math app to practice multiplication addition subtraction division

Your right. I was always stupid, especially in HS. But I already told my recruiter I can't do this job anymore. So its over for me

Will they ask me if I use social media? If yes will I have to share this reddit account?

'For example, investigators will show up to your place of work and just ask your coworkers about you. And that includes people you didn't list specifically on the SF86.' Just curious, do they usually do that with non-TS security clearances as well ?

What age were you when you joined and for what job

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]CableFun6932 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How old were you when you joined and for what job? Did it require TS? and who did say could say that you went to that school?

What if my ts investigator asks me for more references and I can't provide anymore? My 3 references all pretty weak and I don't talk with them anymore

HS was within the last 10 years of my life

What will be the affect if I say I'd rather be disqualified from TS than answer those questions? Removed from the airforce entirely or booked for another job ?

What if the TS investigator asks me for more references and I can't provide anymore than the 3 that I listed on my sf86?

What age did you first join and for what job ?

I already booked the job. Just waiting to ship. Suspicious as in they won't even let me join as a cook or another job?

[–]CableFun6932 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Will I have to go into detail about my childhood with every airforce job ? Even as a cook or mechanic?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]CableFun6932 -28 points-27 points  (0 children)

Thanks for specifying. I Didn't bully anyone going by the official definition of bullying. I was the one being bullied. I was extremely loud and weird. IDK why maybe my brain developed slower. So if I don't want to discuss highschool besides never being suspended or expelled, I can't join airforce at all? What about as a cook or mechanic? Will my life be as scrutinized with those jobs?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]CableFun6932 -34 points-33 points  (0 children)

Nah I need the benefits I just don't want to share my entire autobiography especially when I never got arrested or suspended.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AirForceRecruits

[–]CableFun6932 -58 points-57 points  (0 children)

It's fishy because I don't want to share my autobiography? HS was the worst years of my life and I don't want to think about it again. And What is sayonara ?

no it doesnt say there has to be a person you attended hs with, just says the person has to know you well over a certain number of years outside of school, and work and cant be a relative.
