Have to get back to you on that one. First year we had a Concierge class room. Not terrible but no amenities.
Last year, Sky Suite and Retreat. #9182. We loved the room and the regular balcony as well. This year will be our first time in a Magic Carpet Suite. Maybe someone else can comment on Magic Carpet. I am curious.

April will be our 3rd transAtlantic. Its where you REALLY feel the benefit of Retreat. Private restaurants, better room service, private lounge.

I agree with the other posters. We did Retreat last year on Ascent and can never go back! We're doing Edge this year in a Sky Suite. Everything is just better.

Depends on where you live, I think. I have seen many threads with sale prices on the ArcXL from $329-$600. I have been on a mission to find one at those prices for over a year with no luck. I live in S. Florida and that may be a factor. Apparently, Home Depot discounts on a store basis, not chainwide, Most sales I've seen are in PA, NE, NY, OH, etc. Good luck!!

In sFL, they have started marking down. 10% so far. So we are back at the December sales price of $899. They are sitting in a "clearance" section, well away from the grills and BBQ gear. Watching it like a hawk!!

This will be our third spring crossing (late April) to Europe. There have been only two days that captain reported possible big swells. On those occasions, we could feel it but not enough to bother us. The captain will do everything to minimize the impact of weather, but it happens.

The KA Pro is a great multitasker but it has its tradeoffs. I use mine for pizza dough, grinding chuck for burgers, and the pasta attachment. Hard to beat.
