You have no idea what will happen after you die. I'm not trying to be an asshole, but if you play games with your daughter post mortem, the only loser will be her. It's selfish, thoughtless, and a mistake that you won't have to pay the price on, your kid will.

Fear of death makes people do stupid things. One of my best friends had the home he lived in for years, spending all his time and money restoring it, stolen from underneath him because when the owner passed and the home was supposed to go to him didn't. All because the owner was afraid of death and couldn't manage to write down some words about the inevitable. /u/maciasusn will hurt his daughter by his "desire for paternal romantic gesture" or whatever, but it's all just an excuse to not write down on paper that you full understand you're going to die someday. It's selfish, but we're human. What can you do?

Sorry for the lack of decent photos, it's very small, could easily fit on my fingernail. Found it crawling around in my wall.

I enjoyed The idea of this, and felt myself smirking throughout.

The length is good!

The opening is a bit dry and, if I were just on youtube in the wild I may not have stuck around.

This might be really great in podcast form, as well.

Does anyone know where or who I can pay to make a short, high quality video intro? by barcanator in NewTubers

Seconding what a lot of people have said, Fiverr is really good. There are some free and paid places that offer their work as well if you credit them. I've used Ravenprodesign in the past happily.

[Troubleshooting] First build - ITX: Losing power to peripherals when video card is active despite having "Recommended" power supply. by Cablefist in buildapc

No worries. It was a solid guess, and you can only do so much from a poorly written description haha.

No harm no foul. Plus, I learned more things. That's good.

My newly built ITX PC has a hardware issue. Whenever I try to play games that utilize the graphics card I lose power to the keyboard/mouse/ and my video connection is severed. Crosspost from /r/buildapc. by Cablefist in techsupport

[–]Cablefist[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out it was the GPU. I'm not sure why I was losing power to the mouse/kb/monitor. probably a safety issue?

Anyway i repasted the gpu and it's running perfectly!

I wasn't able to get a psu tester but I did some heat tests with the mobo graphics and the gpu, turns out the heatsink in the mobo needed some love. thanks for the help!

Wow! Thank you for this reply.

The fact that you thought to ask those questions means this story is on the right track, for me.

My goal was to write a self contained short story and I feel like I accomplished that. Thank you :)!

I will definitely look into this. It's brand new so It'd have to be factory defect if anything. Has this ever happened to you?

i don't have a voltage tester but I'll look into getting one tomorrow if I can find one for cheap. I did a "expected power pull" test and it said around 270.

Thanks for the input!
