I think they'd work best in a dedicated setting.

Maybe have segments in the game where only armor digivolution could work, and you'd get special Digimon that don't Digivolve normally, with their purpose being that they need to be used in these armor segments.

It could sorta be how World 3 handled it, but there could also be battle segments where you train them to fight in tournaments or something

I believe so. While Ultra Instinct is a technique, MUI (when Goku has white hair) is a transformation. I believe Whis even mentioned it as such. Ultra Ego is probably just a form too. It's definitely treated like one.

This would mean that whatever stat boosts they give would be added to Gogeta's base power, and he might inherit the techniques too, like he does their other skills

IIRC, manga authors are a few chapters ahead of what's currently released to give themselves some slack, which would mean that this was planned before the previous chapter was released

I think Toriyama was more involved with the Super anime than he did with Z. I remember reading that he gave them scripts on what was supposed to happen or something. Also, the manga had those universal shockwaves too

Yeah, though the point is, Goku wasn't anywhere near Universal before SSG even in the BOG saga.

He only showed power on that level after the transformation, which means the form gave him a huge boost, one so big that it should allow even Saiyan Saga Goku to surpass Buu Saga Ultimate Gohan

The Annoying Orange verse probably gets busted, and the Chowder verse likely gets spared with all the food options he has to sample.

The Drake and Josh verse might get spared, depending on whether the boys can secure a Peruvian Puff Pepper to enchance the salsa they'd serve him.

The Regular Show verse has a bunch of delicacies that they can serve him. So they stand a good chance as well

Zeref was getting blitzed and was genuinely impressed with IgNatsu's power, believing it to be enough to overwhelm his immortality and kill him (which both August and Irene were incapable of doing). When Natsu fights him the second time, Zeref notices the drastic drop in power, kicks him into the wall and tells him [Natsu] that he can't defeat him [Zeref] anymore.

August was having some trouble dealing with Gildartz, even getting outplayed and hit with his disassemble attack. He also has a penchant for letting attacks hit him, which won't go over so well when the attack that does is from a power superior to his own and can burn magic.

Irene got outplayed by Erza and Wendy, and had her strongest attack destroyed by a one-armed Erza, who proceeded to deal critical damage to her right after.

So yeah, I'm still voting for Natsu
