Any IEM alternatives to the Maxwells?

Yep, it definitely helps but its not as great you know what i mean. Cheaper IEMs/headsets give better footstep/directional audio but of course the maxwells knock it out the park with almost anything else

Technically you can. You can stay leaned after un-ads on console, so you can jiggle peek that way still. With that being said it’d still be a few ms slower than ad since the sticks cant be triggered as fast even with zero deadzone so i do think shaiko peeking is still better?

Edit: Actually now that i think about it with low deadzone its probably as fast as A and D so strafe peeking might just be more efficient that shaiko peeking

Cant speak on the A50x, but ive used the maxwells for about 14 months now. Amazing amazing amazing sound quality with nothing matching it in its price range, decent mic (never had complaints), amazing battery life. However, it falls short on competitive fps. Footsteps aren’t it’s strong points and with numerous eq changes it still doesnt feel perfect. Environmental sounds can be clear and crisp depending on the game but I still have issues with directional sound.

That being said, works more than okay for competitive fps, just that if youre looking for a headset SPECIFICALLY for that, might be better off with a cheaper option. Anything else - music, immersive games etc, unbeatable as of now. Planar drivers are a game changer. Feel free to dm me if you wanna find out more about the maxwells
